Advocacy and Policy Reform

We work to transform the family law system into one that protects and uplifts survivors of abuse by:

  • Collaborating with policymakers to draft and promote survivor-centered legislation.
  • Advocating for systemic reforms to eliminate loopholes that allow abusers to manipulate the legal system.
  • Writing op-eds in newspapers and leveraging media outlets to highlight systemic injustices and push for reform.
  • Hosting awareness campaigns to educate the public and lawmakers about the urgent need for change.
  • Building coalitions with like-minded non-profits to amplify advocacy efforts.

Accountability and System Monitoring

We hold individuals and institutions accountable for enabling abuse within the family law system by:

  • Collecting and documenting women’s experiences with judges, lawyers, law firms, and court-appointed professionals.
  • Building a database to track patterns of systemic misconduct and negligence.
  • Writing and sharing media stories to expose harmful practices and promote accountability in the legal and social systems.
  • Sharing findings with policymakers to advocate for oversight and accountability measures.
  • Creating platforms for women to share their stories anonymously to inspire change and raise awareness.
